I am PASSIONATE about providing correct, age appropriate, open and inclusive sexuality education for our younger humans with a focus on consent, communication and pleasure.
Why…because I have two of them myself!! My desire is for them to NOT have to go through the years of shame and anxiety I had to. Nor do I want them turning to porn for that education, like so many of our young people are today.
Having those conversations can be HARD. For some of us it’s awkward, embarrassing, uncomfortable. We don’t know what to say, when to say it, where to say it or how to say it, in a way that will be received well.
The great news is that my parenting workshop (created from the lived experience of parenting two teenage boys); “How to have THAT Conversation more Confidently, Comfortably and Correctly” helps parents do exactly that! You will leave feeling empowered with a tool box of tools and strategies to support you in those conversations.
“I was petrified walking into this workshop…..I am not comfortable talking about sex with my friends, let alone a bunch of strangers. It was great to see I wasn’t the only one in the room who struggled with this subject and listening to other peoples stories and experiences somehow made it easier for me. The content was great and the best bit for me was that we got to actually have a go at the conversations we were being encouraged to have. I went in to learn about how to talk to my kids, which I did, but I also walked out being able to talk about it with my friends and partner more easily as well !!
